In ESS, strategic plans are developed at each organizational level, and include strategic elements (mission, goals, etc.), core strategies (including assessment measures and targets), and other planning components (collaborations, special initiatives, etc.). The division strategic plan (linked above) informs the development of unit strategic plans, and unit strategic plans inform the development of department strategic plans. This multi-level planning process is conducted according to the timeline below for the current accreditation cycle. Further down this page, templates and tools are provided to support this work at the department and unit levels.
